This brand new building is born from a vision which connect different kind of dimentions that our family cares a lot; hospitality which is in our dna since almost three generations, the art of known how to host our guests in the best way we know and be able to let them live an exclusively stay. Nature, which is the center of the entire project, we choose to incorporate architectural elements that don’t disturb the surrounding landscape, and open spaces that allow for the spectacular view from the panoramic terrace where the mountain ridge, the sea, and the sky are connectd to each other.

Every morning, you’ll also find the “special of the day” option, a dish created by Giulia and Gianpaolo based on the morning’s inspiration, made with fresh, mostly seasonal and local products.

We are Giulia and Gianpaolo, brother and sister with a common passion: the love for our home.
By home, we mean this central village of the Cinque Terre, Corniglia, perched above the sea among gardens and vineyards. Here, together with our parents, we founded Locanda il Carugio—a new offering where guests can enjoy a 360° experience, not just spontaneous hospitality but also the sharing and the love of a land that only we, us locals, can convey and tell.
We’re always at your disposal, you can find us around the property or in the kitchen preparing a one-of-a-kind breakfast.

Struttura bellissima e subito ottima accoglienza da parte di Giulia e Gianpaolo che sanno gestire in maniera eccellente la locanda. Ambiente accogliente e raffinato. Gorgeous, Immaculate, Comfortable Stay in Cinque Terre!
This was my second time staying at Locanda Il Carugio. This place is absolutely gorgeous! Soggiorno perfetto. I proprietari sono stati molto accoglienti e ci hanno fornito ottimi consigli per visitare le cinque terre.
